A Boxing Day trip to Swansea Swansea away. You can be sure that there'll never be a dull moment at this fixture, and this one was no different. It was a night game and after considerable police diversions we just made it to the game on time.  Inside the atmosphere in the Cardiff end was electric, with all the usual nutters climbing up the stanchions and getting a little..er...over-excited. City went 1-0 up and the crowd erupted - almost literally in the case of a section of the Swansea grandstand where some kamikaze Cardiff fans had decided to sit.  The rest of the game went by in a mass of crowd-baiting and jeering as Cardiff cruised to victory. After the match we headed back to the station and were met by the bizarre spectacle of seeing Cardiff fans chasing after police cars. I guess in their strange world they wanted to get to where the trouble was and following the police cars would lead them straight to it. We left sharpish.  Jacks!
