Westminster Bridge, London
Looking across from the South Bank, you can the distinctive landmark of Big Ben (although the name Big Ben actually refers not to the clock-tower itself, but to the 13-ton bell inside.)
The bell was named after the first commissioner of works, Sir Benjamin Hall, and originally came from the old Palace of Westminster.
Obscure fact! There are cells within the clock tower for imprisoning Members of Parliament for a breach of parliamentary privilege (although the last recorded case was in 1880).
