Tavistock Square

In the centre of Tavistock Square is a public park, dominated by a sculpture of Ghandi.

This Georgian square was built by James Burton and Thomas Cubitt between 1803-26, and its most famous resident was Charles Dickens, who wrote Bleak House, Little Dorrit, Hard Times, A Tale of Two Cities, and part of Great Expectations there.
