Tent update
Incredibly, some people were interested enough to ask about about the tent I bought on Friday – so here’s my update.
The tent I was going to buy turned out to be a hernia-inducer par excellence, so I ended up getting a smaller but lighter model, the Black’s Lomond tent for £90.
It’s a three person tent with a bijou porch/storage area and stat fans will be fascinated to learn that it features ‘Ripstop polyester 185T flysheet’, ‘Hydrostatic Head 1500mm with a Breathable polyester inner’.
More importantly, it only weighs 6.6kg – and that’s exactly half the weight of the tent I went to buy!
