This is one of my favourite summer walks, starting from Kew Bridge statin (served by trains from Waterloo) and running along the banks of the River Thames as far as Richmond.
It’s an easy 5.6km / 3.5mile route which is flat all the way.
Crossing the river at Kew Bridge to access the Thames Path on the southern side,
Walking on a Wednesday afternoon, the path was very quiet indeed.
Richmond Lock.
Detail, Twickenham Bridge.
Arriving at Richmond.
