Last weekend, I paid my second visit to Sheffield in recent times and once again failed spectacularly to see anything of what I know is a most excellent city.
My first visit was on a chilly weekend in November 2016 and just like this trip, we were staying in a hotel miles away from any nightlife after playing a gig at the wonderful Greystones music venue – which is located on a top of a leg-crunching hill miles from any late late bars.
So with humble apologies to the denizens of Sheffield, here’s a short collection of damp and grey shots from my short visit.
Support act for the night was the startlingly original ‘prog punk’ band Sleepy People.
My kit for the evening.
View from the back.
The weather hadn’t improved much in the morning.
At first I thought there was a manikin in one of the windows of the refurbished council flats on South Street Parkhill, Sheffield.
But then he moved. Eeek!
