London basked in an early heatwave today, with temperatures soaring to 27 degrees across the capital.
With the Met Office reporting that England and Wales had recorded their driest March for more than half a century, April looks set to be another record breaker.
In Brockwell Park this afternoon, it seemed like half of Brixton had come out to picnic, drink, play Frisbee and soak in the rays, with loads of cyclists from the nearby Herne Hill Velodrome Good Friday event scattered around the green slopes.
