The High Line offers a fabulous walk through the heart of lower Manhattan, with the park being built on the tracks of a long abandoned elevated railroad route.
With Stage Two recently opening to the public, the park now stretches from West 12th Street (in the Meatpacking District) up to W30th Street.
If you’re in New York, it’s really worth a visit – and you don’t have to be a train fan to enjoy the walk!
