Now reduced to an impressively high pile of bricks is this old factory that stood on the corner of Acre Lane and Kings Avenue, Brixton, SW2.
This Google street view shows the factory as it once was. It’s not exactly inspiring architecture, and I’m guessing that it might have been constructed in the 1930s, or perhaps a bit later.
Google Street View of the Kings Avenue, SW4 elevation, showing that the building was already semi-derelict.
A night view of the almighty pile of bricks.
And here’s how it used to look.
I’ve no idea what’s going to built in this site once the almighty pile of bricks has been removed, but I wouldn’t be surprised to find the words “lifestyle,” “luxury” and “urban living” popping up in its description.
