It may be 70 days away, but the Big Christmas Cash In has already started in London’s West End, with several stores putting out their festival baubles.

Despite the big events of Halloween and Fireworks Night still being weeks away, a cluster of sparkly trinkets is now on display to tempt early Christmas shoppers.
Apparently these curious creatures have a real and meaningful connection with Christmas.

Mind you, these were positively sluggish in appearing on the shelves in comparison to the trees that went on sale in Brixton in September.
To be honest, I’m not entirely sure if these floating spheres in Oxford Street are Christmas-related.
