This banner sums up how I feel about the government’s dodgy plans to embark on a policy of mass privatisation for the NHS.
We went along to a big protest on Westminster Bridge in central London against the changes proposed in the Health and Social Care bill – a bill which featured in neither the Tories or the LibDem’s manifestos.

Ed, not sure if you were wanting to start a discussion about this, but it’s not as though the current system is so fantastic compared with that of other first world countries. Look at the waiting lists, the overworked GPs, the poor care for the elderly in hospital.
I’ve no desire to follow America (even americans are trying to change their system) but as long as health care remains free at the point of use I think we need to try and change things.
I’m not sure if I expressed myself very well there- I meant to say ‘as long as health care remains free for everyone at the point of use, we need to be open to reforms to the NHS’
