I loved this smart but unpretentious coffee shop in Liverpool’s bustling Bold Street.
The coffee was expertly brewed and the food was fresh and delicious – and it was nice to hear Abbey Road playing on the turntable too!
The décor of the cafe is simple with some interesting touches, like this beautiful Colnago racer suspended on the wall at the back.
The space is fairly large, bright and airy, with local artworks decorating the walls.
The staff were friendly and there was a good mix of people in the cafe too – and not a hipster in sight!
There’s a great selection of teas on offer, but special note has to go the toast which was perfect for my breakfast!
Bold Street Coffee was recently listed in the Independent’s guide to the 50 best Coffee Shops in the UK, and there’s no question that it deserves such lofty praise. It’s a great place to visit.
