Rapidly repelling customers and creating ill-will on an industrial scale is hipster-luring chain Brick Lane Coffee in east London.
Trading under the strapline “come happy leave edgy,” the company boasts of how their three shops are “scattered about the lowbrow areas (where all the action is).”
Unfortunately, it seems that they don’t like things too edgy or too lowbrow, with a sign outside their coffee shop yesterday imploring their customers and passers-by not to “feed the crackies.”
A swift and righteous Twitterstorm followed, forcing the company to post up an apology.

Too little too late. I’ll never visit the place.
