There was a big and very lively turn out tonight outside Lambeth Town Hall as councillors met inside to discuss a proposed £37 million package of cuts which will cost 600 jobs – including all School Crossing Patrol staff and Parks Rangers.
Here’s some photos from the demo:
The support from passing cars was deafening!
As the council went into session, an ad hoc roadblock formed on Effra Road, chanting loudly.
Great photo Mike- love the sinister yellowish light.
Saw a brilliant poet last night, the Bard of Northampton, think you should get him down Offline. Very funny!
Hope you are well x
