I’m really excited to be involved in this new local brewing project, which is the result of a collaboration between BrixtonBuzz.com, urban75 and the London Beer Lab.
We’ve decided to launch three new beers for Brixton, brewed in Brixton by a Brixton-based brewery, with all profits going to the Brixton Soup Kitchen project in Southwyck House off Coldharbour Lane.
Launch party
We shall be unleashing our delicious new limited edition beers at a launch event at the Kaff bar, 68 Atlantic Road, Brixton, on Friday 27th September 7pm – 9pm,.
Bottles will be priced at £3 each, and there’ll be DJs and music hall maestros the Mrs Mills Experience providing traditional pub singalongs. Please come early as there’s a good chance we’re going to sell out pretty quickly.
The three beers being introduced at the launch are:

A guarana infused pale ale IPA 4.4%Effra Gold
A smooth golden ale infused with honey 5.9%Coldharbour Courage
A true beer for Brixton, Courage blends guarana and honey for a smooth but lively drink 5.9%

Further beers will be announced over the coming months, including a dark winter stout, ‘Windrush Warrior’ – read more about the brewing project here: brixtonbuzz.com
