Coffee at Goodbench, Brixton

It’s ruddy freezing outside and I’ve got a stinky cold, so praise be for the restorative powers of a hot lunch at the Phoenix followed by coffee at the Goodbench in downtown Brixton!

There’s usually loads of papers to read at Goodbench.

The cafe is situated on Market Row, just off Coldharbour Lane, SW9. Update: the cafe closed in May 2011.

The signage might not be the greatest, but the desserts at the Phoenix are formidable!
