Last weekend, I was in the beautiful historic riverfront city of Coimbra in central Portugal, and managed to grab these 100 photos as I wandered through the narrow cobbled streets of its medieval old town.
I was in town to play a show with The Monochrome Set at the Gil Vicente Academic Theater (TAGV) venue.
Our hotel (above) was clean and modern and had some great neon signage!

We had a meal at Pátio da Inquisição. The people were very friendly and the beer tasty, but for vegans and veggies it’s a pretty grim experience full of unexpected ‘beefy surprises.‘
We stopped off for a nightcap at this tiny bar called Beco da Imprensa.
This was a rather curious beverage. Billed as a weissbier is tasted more like scrumpy. But it still went down the hatch well enough.
