Our favourite Brixton coffee shop – Federation Coffee – has just moved from its original intimate surroundings to a bigger unit, just a few metres from the original.
There’s loads more seats available outside, and with all those big windows and a high roof, inside is much brighter too.
The controls of the shop’s combine harvester. Or something.
The only downsize of the move is the upward shift of the coffee prices, with a cappuccino now costing £2.20 – a bit pricey, but if you get in on their loyalty card scheme, at least every sixth coffee will be free.
Federation Coffee can be found at Unit 77-78, corner of 5th Avenue, Brixton Village (Granville Arcade), off Coldharbour Lane and Atlantic Road, SW9.
