After The Queen’s death on the 8th September, people flocked to the central London park to leave floral tributes, flags, balloons and mementoes.
We returned at the end of the month to gaze upon what looked a bit like a deserted medieval battle scene, strewn with dead flowers, deflated balloons, handwritten notes, flags and bizarre portraits:
