I enjoyed a lovely, long walk through a freezing central London yesterday, with my journey taking me across the snow covered Green Park and Hyde Parks, before I headed into Oxford Street for the usual horrendous shopping experience.
Here’s some photos from my walk through the parks…
Cool snowman, Green Park.
Hot passion, cold park bench, Green Park.
Winter Wonderland, Hyde Park.
Big wheel and balloons.
Frozen Serpentine lake, Hyde Park.
Stranded boat.
Wintry scene by the lake.

I just Googled London town and clicked on Images to come upon your wonderful photographs. What an eye! The symmetrical long shot of the parallel row of trees and the snow-covered park benches is an absolute masterpiece out of Kubrick. If you look at every composition in every shot of his every film, you will realize that it has the perfect, poetic symmetry of your photograph. Here in Los Angeles we have been having a week of rain which is a Godsend in arid Southern California, yet people complain.
