To start off, with octopuses are mighty weird things. They have two eyes and four pairs of arms and are bilaterally symmetric, with a hard beak around its mouth at the centre point of the arms.
They have no internal or external skeleton, so they can squeeze into ridiculously tight spots, they’re incredibly smart creatures, but most amazing of all, they have such powers of camouflage that they can almost become invisible.
This incredible footage taken by marine biologist Roger Hanlon shows just how good an octopus’s disguise can be.
