These two fascinating videos show what life is like 220 miles above the Earth in the International Space Station – and also explains how astronauts get to sleep in space.
The first video is a comprehensive 25 minute tour of the station hosted by the affable NASA astronaut Suni Williams, where she shows off the various modules – and also explains how the all-important toilets work in space.
Living in space looks amazing… People never have to sit down!

The second video is a shorter affair, and features CSA Astronaut Chris Hadfield explaining how astronauts sleep in space – and it looks a rather strange procedure.
When NASA wrote to me in 1969 I was convinced that I’d soon be in space. Sadly, I’m still waiting.
