Central London is blessed with some wonderful parks, and as they burst into summer, they’ve never looked more verdant.
Here’s 28 photos from a recent walk through Green Park and Hyde Park:
Deck chairs, Green Park.
Green Park is definitely living up to its name right now.
Hyde Park is a short walk from Green Park. When I passed the Serpentine lake, there was a huge queue of people looking to hire pedalos.
There’s even a post box in the middle of the park.
Despite the glorious weather, the park was quiet on the western side.
Situated in the middle of Hyde Park, “The Old Police House” is the headquarters for the Royal Parks police force.
The delightful Queen Anne styled building dates back to 1902.
Heading east (towards Park Lane), the park becomes flatter.
