Billed as a ” multisensory experience that combines media, technology and play in one place,” Dopamine Land is an interactive installation in South Kensington.
Arrivals are led to darkened room where a hippyish recording encourages you to hold hands with the person next to you.
Things improved rapidly when we were guided into this mirrored room, draped with lights.
The room is a lot smaller than the photos suggest, but it’s a heap of fun.
In the next room standing on the illuminated box triggered music samples.
Some rooms were just video screens and mirrors.
Visitors were encouraged to write their thoughts on the wall of this rather underwhelming room.
The ball pit, sorry, ‘Pool Of Joy,’ was a highlight, with strangers soon pelting each other with balls.
After the thrills of the ball pit, there was a chance to chill out in this darkened room.
This was perhaps my favourite room, with oodles of lovely, soothing deep bass, nature scenes and wood chippings on the floor.
The last room was the biggest disappointment of the lot with cheesy house music blaring out really loudly.
We declined the invitation to have a pillow fight.
The Bubble Bar offers a final selfie opportunity for Instagram obsessed visitors, while the Bubble Bar serves up Bubble Teas and Cocktails.
