The City of London’s largest public rooftop space, The Garden at 120, can be found at the top of the Fen Court building at 120 Fenchurch Street.
It’s free to enter – no booking is required – although you may have to queue for a short while to get in and then go through airport-style security before getting into the lift.
The entrance to the rooftop garden.
At 15 storeys high, there’s some excellent 360-degree views across the city.
Dedicated lifts take you to the garden which was designed by German landscape architects Latz + Partner, and hosts 85 Italian wisteria trees, over 30 fruit trees and a 200ft-long flowing water feature.
The Gherkin is now dwarfed by modern skyscrapers.
The plant pots are holding the chairs in position.
