Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan one November evening, we were greeted by this absolutely stunning sunset.
We took our time crossing the bridge, taking in the changes of colour and shade in the sky.
The building on the left is the headquarters of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, also known as “Bethel.”
The cult, sorry religion had been busy buying up properties around Brooklyn Heights since they set up their world headquarters there in 1909, although they’ve recently flogged off some of their extensive property empire.
Watching the sunset.
Statue of Liberty in the distance.
Walking into Manhattan. The Brooklyn Bridge was built between 1869 and 1883, and connects Manhattan with New York’s most populous borough, Brooklyn.
The last light of the day fades.
