Fans of vintage neon signs should hasten their step in the direction of Leadenhall Market this weekend to see Electric City, an immersive technicolour production hosted by Gods Own Junkyard.
Designed to “inject a blaze of colour and joy back into the capital,” the neon-lit shopfronts in Leadenhall Market will be going dark this Saturday at midnight.
God’s Own Junkyard has worked on film sets for over 40 years and the exhibition will include signage highlights from Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut, Judge Dredd, Batman, Tomb Raider, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Dark Knight.

More about Leadenhall market
Leadenhall Market dates back to the 14th century and is situated in what was the centre of Roman London.
Originally a meat, poultry and game market, it is now home to a number of boutique retailers, restaurants, cafes, wine bars and an award wining boozer.
