As a panorama dilettante myself, I can’t get enough of zoom-tastic cityscape vistas, although I’d have to start snapping in an amphetamine frenzy to get anywhere near matching Jeffrey Martin’s awesome, enormo-view of London.
Captured from the top of Centrepoint Tower over three days, the 80-gigapixel panorama consists of 7,886 individual photos, lovingly stitched together to form a seamless view over London town.
This panorama was shot from the top of the Centre Point building in central London, in the summer of 2010. We hope that the varied sights and energy of London have been captured here in a way never done before, so that you can experience one of the world’s great cities – wherever you may be right now.
The panorama – which now holds the record as the world’s largest – can be zoomed-in and out to your heart’s desire right here.
