I don’t actually run around the streets of London swinging an umbrella and singing in the rain, but I do rather like inclement weather.
Most of my favourite songs go on about the rain or snow, and I’m never happier than when I’m stomping through thick snow in the countryside, or going to sleep to the sound of the howling wind and thundering rain outside.
Here’s a few views taken from the top floor of a double decker as it swept through central London in a September rainstorm a few years ago.
Heading down Regent Street under a dark September sky.
Into Trafalgar Square, with the High Commission of Canada to the right, and the National Gallery to the right.
Been singing again eh, Mike?
Love these photos Mike!
Sorry to have missed Lady Lykez, must see her sometime, been a fan of ‘The Booth’ for years.
Hope you are well!
