As part of the campaign to bring the World Science Fiction Convention to London in 2014, a four minute video montage of movie invasions has been put together.
Dr Who footage figures large, but there’s some slightly less well known stuff in there.
Sit back and enjoy some exploding buildings and cataclysmic Cockney scenes – and watch as poor old Big Ben seems to get it more than most.
