Every Saturday and Sunday in central London, a huge and rather ramshackle art market rises up on the railings surrounding Green Park, on the south side of Piccadilly.
Included in the sundry artwork you can see some bar towels!
Paintings stacked up by the entrance to Green Park. Most of the stuff here is pretty cheap.
The quality of the art is best described as “variable,” and there’s loads of sentimental tosh on offer.
These drawings came with a free anarchy symbol with (I’m guessing) all monies going to the Animal Liberation Front.
You can find the market on weekends on Piccadilly between Hyde Park and Piccadilly Circus.
It’s well worth a quick look if you’re on your way for a leisurely stroll around Green Park or Hyde Park.
