I was really saddened to see that the rather wonderful Getty Images Gallery by Oxford Circus has now closed for good.
It’s long been one of my favourite photo galleries in London, with regular free displays showing off some incredible work by a wide range of photographers.
As well as showcasing the work in Getty’s catalogue, regular themed exhibitions were put on and I particularly enjoyed include the Bert Hardy retrospective, Indian Treasures and early hip hop.

The gallery was at at 46 Eastcastle Street, London, W1W 8DX.
It’ll be much missed.
