For a hard-core coffee lover like me, there can never be enough quality coffee shops in London, so I was delighted to visit New Row Coffee over the weekend.
Situated in – you guessed it – New Row in Covent Garden, this coffee shop and espresso bar serves up a very decent brew of espresso, sourced from Union Hand Roasted Coffee in East London.
There’s also a tempting selection of snacks, teas and cakes on offer, providing a welcome alternative to the many rubbish chain cafes in the area.
That said, seating space is at a minimum – just a couple of tables inside and a bench outside – so it’s not really a place to tarry all afternoon with a single cuppa.

I agree, the space is limited. Another problem is that now that all my colleagues in the office is aware of the GREAT latte they make, I need to bring back 3 – 4 cups to the office everytime I go to get my cup.
I agree…it’s a Great place, with great coffee and lovely cakes, and I just love their yoghurt for breakfast!
it looks ever so nice
Great coffee with very knowledgeable staff so much so I’ve stopped buying excessively large lattes and have moved now to flat whites.
