Blimey. What a fantastic night this was. We had free freshly baked Welsh cakes, daffodils, Welsh music, Welsh video, two great bands and vast amounts of DJing till 4am.
I indulged my Welsh roots with a wildly erratic set of Welsh tunes, taking in the likes of Super Furries, Amen Corner, Manics, Gorkis, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Los Campesinos, Gene, Budgie, Julian Cope, Visage and the Automatic.

St David’s Day 2011 update
Blimey – I’ve just seen that over 1,500 people have looked at this page today – if I’d known there was that much interest, I would have put another night on tonight!
In fact, if enough people email me, I will put on another St David’s special in Brixton tonight. I love an excuse to play Shakey, Budgie, Shirley, The Manics etc and I’ve got a great DVD celebrating all things Cymraeg!
