Five local venues took part in this year’s Oxjam Brixton Takeover, a live music charity event designed to raise funds for Oxfam and provide a great day of live music in the process.
It has to be said that the weather wasn’t too kind with these drummers having to face the driving rain in Windrush Square.
The five venues taking place in Oxjam were the Windmill, Dogstar, Market House, Kaff and Upstairs at the Ritzy.
I was DJing at the Windmill and was delighted to see my old chums Morton Valence playing live (above).
Also on the bill at the Windmill were the rather excellent Halo Halo.
Mr Basista doing his thing at the Dogstar.
The Dogstar was the place for the after party and much fun was had 🙂
