There was rock and roll reverberating along the streets of east London last Sunday, as the Urban Voodoo Machine led a march to the Clerkenwell Festival after party.
The free Clerkenwell Festival took place in Spa Fields Park, and included performances from Peanut Smugglers, the Action Men, King Salami and the Urban Voodoo Machine.
The festival ended around 6,30pm, and then the Voodoo folks led a procession to the after party at the Crypt under St James church in Clerkenwell Green.
Here’s some photos from the march.
Through the streets!
In the crypt, where the DJ line up featured Jon the Boatman, Barry Tapestry, French Yan and Sister Cookie.
There was a lot of energetic dancing going on.
Taking a breather outside
Hipster trash.
Not sure you actuallyknow what hipsters are, Neil.
True.
Great day out…especially for free….The Urban Voodoo Machine and Friends was the cream rising to the top, great to see people hanging out of their windows to see what was going on…a great way to be escorted to the Crypt…..they should take over London’s streets….
