Last night I ventured east to return to the Paper Dress Vintage venue in Hackney to watch a powerful performance by The Shattercones.
The venue pushes all the hipster buttons, being a vintage boutique by day and a late night venue after the sun comes down, with the small upstairs live music space packing a decent soundsystem.
The band paint dark, sonic landscapes, with a multi instrumentalist onslaught changing the moods from crushing despair to daring escapes over barren wide filmic landscapes.
