Ace sarf London skifflers the Severed Limb were all shipshape and Bristol fashion last night, putting on a great live set in an old barge on the Thames.
Celebrating the launch of their latest EP, ‘The Shake Up,’ the Severed Limb set up in The Tamesis – a converted 1930s barge moored a little downstream of the Houses of Parliament.
Packing in three floors with the gig area below decks, this was a great little venue with super friendly staff.
The packed gallery arrangement brought to mind the 12 Bar Club in central London, although at least the people above could see more than just the top half of the band!
There was a great vibe inside, and the band have really come a long way since they first played Offline waaaay back in 2008.
Giving the top gallery a voice.
Find out more about The Severed Limb here. I’ll have to see if I can nag them back to Offline soon!
