St George’s Day festival, Trafalgar Square, London

St George’s Day came early in Trafalgar Square this year, with a free festival being put on to celebrate England’s patron saint on Saturday.

There was a gardening theme going on, with the square looking delightfully verdant.

Relaxing in the sun. The lack of Morris dancers jangling about was a disappointment as was the paucity of English ales.
