Swing Both Ways – nicely subverted street sign in Tottenham Court Road, London

I loved this street sign on Tottenham Court Road that had been wittily subverted.

Posted up as a warning to pedestrians about road traffic work, the sign’s original message of ‘Look Both Ways‘ had been given another meaning altogether, thanks to the addition of the word ‘Swing’ in an identical typeface. Nicely done!

This version further down the road shows the original sign, albeit with the addition of a red Anarchy symbol and two ‘chaos!’ stickers.
