Named after the process of dosing a coffee machine, Tapped & Packed is earning a reputation as one of the finest coffee shops in central London.
Serving coffee supplied by London-based artisan roasteries (Square Mile, Climpson & Sons and Union Hand Roasters) and prepared using a Nuova Simonelli machine, this is a place for caffeine aficionados.
Coffee connoisseurs are also able to select their choice of coffee beans and have their blend brewed by filter, cafetiere, siphon or Aeropress.
The shop also sells sandwiches, cakes and tasty snacks and the coffee was, as expected, delicious.
Denizens of Tottenham Court Road may also be pleased to hear that they’re opening up a branch on that busy highway soon, at number 114.
After the demise of the much loved Photographers Gallery and Piccadilly Cafe – our favourite central London cafes – it’s good to see new shops opening up, like Wild and Wood on New Oxford Street and Yumchaa in Soho.
I was rather taken by the delicate little spoons that accompany cups of coffee.
