Currently dividing opinion on our bulletin boards is this new addition to the central Brixton skyline.
‘The Brixton Heron’ is a weathervane sculpture created by artist Maggi Hambling and sits on the roof of the Prince of Wales public house (aka ‘Dex’), on the corner of Coldharbour Lane and Brixton Road.
It looks a bit of a bedraggled heron to me, and I’m not sure what the connection is with Brixton, but I’m all for a bit of art around the place.
Seen from Windrush Square.
It’s a Swastika. Cool.
