Recently, I’ve been methodically documenting the assortment of buskers seen on the streets of Brixton in south London, but this fella with a fire-breathing tuba surely trumps the lot.
Spotted just off Tottenham Court Road in central London, the top hatted musician parps along to a vintage soundtrack while fire pumps out of the tuba’s horn – I first saw him in action on the South Bank in 2014.
Although perhaps not quite as much fun as Cambridge’s legendary Busker in a Bin, I enjoyed watching this fella and was happy to throw some coins into his hat.
Here’s some photos of him in action.

This chap used to be on Exhibition Road outside the Science Museum last year. Haven’t seen him there this year – so far.
His name is Krysztof Werkowicz. He’s a Polish actor/artist.
