You could never accuse Brixton of being boring. On a short shopping trip, I came across a religious rapper, a lone guitarist singing about God and a steel band. There were quite a few God-botherers and leaflet shovers out on the streets too, but I couldn't be arsed to photograph them.
Guitarist singing about God or something, Coldharbour Lane, Brixton.
Somewhat under-attended religious gathering, Windrush Square, Brixton. On stage a poet/rapper was banging on about 'Romans 1' and Satan being a jolly bad fellow. Or something.
Disused Gents public toilet, Tate Gardens. We'd like them back please Lambeth Council, as the place stinks of piss.
'They want your iPod' sign, Brixton Road. These signs are all over Brixton over the moment, but I'd rather see them than these yellow boards.
Steel drummers busking outside Iceland, by Brixton tube station, Brixton Road.
Nicely subverted, 'They Want Your iPod' sign, Brixton Hill (pic by hendo).
