Glastonbury 2007: backstage views A few snapshots from the backstage area. (Photos/words © urban75, June 2007) View from our tent, backstage camping area, Wednesday. Look how nice and green everything is! The same view two days later. By the Saturday, tents were being wedged into impossibly small spaces. We had one so close, they'd virtually moved in! Moving a tent. Sheltering in the backstage canteen. The Press Office (see end-of-festie comparison shot below). Luxury! No grubby tents for the artistes and the BBC mob. The backstage area suffered some flooding, but thankfully HRH Kate Moss managed to survive the mud. Abandoned tent. Abandoned tents, Monday morning. The posh 'chalets' in the backstage area were looking a little down at heel by the end. The deserted - and thoroughly trashed - press room. « Glastonbury Festival homepage More photos » |
