Directory Opus v9.1 review

I'm loving this fantastic replacement Explorer program for Windows - check it out!

Directory Opus Features
Basically a super-turbo charged file manager and Windows explorer replacement, Opus lets you set up your workspace exactly how you want it, with options galore letting you set up user-definable file display views, customisable toolbars and menus with tabbed folder views and file trees.

Directory Opus v9.1 File manager For Windows: Review (91%)We felt the love for the tabbed folder views immediately - with a neat row of tabbed windows reducing a plethora of open windows on our desktop. The love kept on giving too, with the built in ZIP and RAR clients immediately impressing us with their ability to seamlessly open and view the contents of compressed folders.

It did such a good job of it that we immediately made it our default ZIP client. Nice one.

Palm Centro review

Palm Centro review

I'm loving my new Palm Centro phone which took over from my well battered Treo 650. It's a pint sized Palm OS smartphone, with offers a ton of functionality in a bijou package.

Palm Centro review

It's a great little phone and comes well recommended!

Best dSLRs under £500

Budget dSLRs (under £500)

I get asked this a lot, so here's a page with four of my recommended choices for cheap dSLRs: Best low cost dSLR cameras: 2007

They're all more than capable of extremely high quality results, so your best bet is to try them out on a shop and see which feels best in your greasy mitt.

If your pockets are deep and plentifully stocked, you can't get much better than the new Nikon D300 - it's an astonishingly good camera, but very pricey (approx £1,200).

Palm Treo 500v Pocket PC Review

Palm Treo 500v Pocket PC Review
After attending the launch party last week, I've been using (and rather liking) Palm's new 500v phone.

It may run Windows Mobile (I'm a Palm OS kinda fella), but it's a really nice phone with clever-clogs location based services and onboard Mobile TV.

Palm Treo 500v Pocket PC Review

Check out my comprehensive review here: Palm Treo 500v Pocket PC Review. It's the best Windows phone I've ever used!
