Second installment of photos from the free event by the River Thames in central London.
The bell-laden shoes of the Mortimer's Morris from Nottingham.
They describe themselves as being, 'one of a small but growing group of teams who see the dance tradition as dynamic, building on the treasury of dances from Lancashire and Cheshire by choreographing dances of their own making.'
Accordions are go!
The Eynsham Morris.
Gog Magog Molly take the floor. They were a bit odd, but I think I liked them.
The waving dance.
Action!
Getting physical!
The Stone Monkey Sword Dancers prepare to dance.
Their dances looked quite complicated to my eyes, with lots of stepping over and stepping under the knives.
