Entrance to Coffee Lounge

The Coffee Lounge was one of the most important rooms in the Midland Hotel and was once lavishly enriched with decoration on every surface.

The Lounge had richly textured wallpaper panels between alternating columns of 'Red Devonshire' and 'Green Connemara' polished limestone.

This is the view of the door nearest to the Entrance Hall.
