Protesters gather in Parliament Square 11am is probably a bit too early for some, but slowly the square fills up with thousands of people enjoying the Spring sunshine. The grass in the square was very wet - apparently the police had it doused with water the night before in an atempt to discourage people from sitting on it. Shame that doing that made it very easy to 'relocate' the turf later.
