LIVE BANDS:
MACHETES
Straight out of Toronto, this all girl rock band mix up late 70's CBGBs with Blondie, Riot Grrrl, The Ramones and Detroit garage-punk. Expect full-on guitar thrash, shouty choruses and some great punk rock tunes.
"Glammed-up-punk princesses that deliver high-voltage intensity, rousing and sleazy, swaggering through a sweat-drenched revolution of style and urgency."
THE SPIVS
Currently recording with White Stripes producer Liam Watson, The Spivs are "one of the most talked about bands you've never heard off." Serving up a mixed up palette of oddball rock'n'roll, the high speed trio mash up the wild sounds of 50s rock'n'roll, 77 punk and 60s garage into a crazed ball of raw, high energy noise. Described as a collision between the early Cramps and The Scientists, The Spivs are a "must see for anyone, anywhere in the world, who thinks they dig real rock'n'roll music!"
"Wide-eyed rock'n'roll with a black heart of garage rock" HotGigsUK
PLUS:
MULTIMEDIA
Original photos, New York street scenes, Brixton shots and protest footage and more.
PLUS A SPINNING PLATTER OF DJS!
We'll also have a full crew of hard-drinking Offline regulars throwing down a top selection of tunes including:
EDITOR (urban75)
Expect an ale-fuelled, fun-packed feast of ska, punk, rock'n'roll, big band and rockabilly in a floor stomping package.
NIPSLA (Falling over studios)
With more pop than a fridge of rola cola you'll be hard pushed not to get out of your seat and shuffle like an idiot to her bright DJ bag of joy full of indie, electro and party tunes.
MS LANG (The Actionettes)
A veritable platter splatter of 50s, 60s, Motown and more vital tunes from the Actionettes' very own Glamour Queen of Vintage Vinyl.
BOBBY BAUHAUS (charcoal soul)
More mysterious than Robert Smith's eyeliner bag, Bobby gets dancefloors rocking with quirky, darkside indie-pop and kohl-smudging breakbeats.
